Monday 9th March 2015 - Elliston

Woke up to drizzly rain this morning which didn't take too long to clear. Ended up being a lovely sunny day with no wind so all good. We all went to the local Cafe for a coffee and hot chocolate before taking some pictures of the TI building with all the Murals and buying some shells. It has been a lovely stay here at Elliston with a caravan park that is very relaxed and the owners extremely pleasant.  Grass sites, shady trees, not too busy and a pool, very nice. Caught up with the housework and tomorrow we are heading towards Port Augusta  where we will stay approx 40kms west for the night before going up to Wilpeena Pound for a few days. Barry & Paul went fishing again today and they both managed to catch fish, so it was King George Whiting for our dinner tonight....lovely

So many of the buildings in Elliston have Murals painted on them.  The above one is the side entrance into the TI building.
