Sunday 1st March 2015 - Coffin Bay
Dull day today to start and targeting Port Lincoln for a few days. Arno Bay first stop and lots of seaweed piled, and I do mean piled on the beach making it not very pleasant. So far the Eyre Peninsula looks like a fishermans paradise, all the parks are very basic and full of fishermen and boats. My guess is that they come over for 3 months and that is why we are having a bit of trouble finding caravan parks. Port Neill for MT and this spot is picture perfect. A front beach as well as a back beach that had lots of rocks a very pretty place. Tumby Bay is the next stop and it is even prettier than port Neill, a very nice swimming beach. 46kms down to Port Lincoln and once there we will stay a few days and have a good look around. There is a National Park that we will explore as well as a pretty good fish & chip place on the esplanade...so I am told. Didn't like the caravan park at Port Lincoln so we have gone onto Coffin Bay where we are booked in for a few days and will travel back to Port Lincoln to check it out properly. Nice quiet spot here and Barry is looking forward to catching some fish while we are here.
