On the road at 9.00am and a beautiful day with no clouds in the sky and an expected temp in the low 30's. Planning on staying at Port Elliot for a few days and do all our exploring of the Fleurieu from there. Morning Tea at Kingston SE where I took the pictures of the Cape Jaffa Lighthouse and then bought some seaford from the Lacepede Bay fish & chip shop. Lunch stop at Chinamens Well alongside the Coorong 1/2 way between Kingston SE and Meningie. Caught the ferry across the Murray at Wellington East and now camped at the Port Elliott Beachfront caravan park. We have decided to camp in an area which is officially closed and close to the beach. Nice and quiet and protected from the wind. The only reason it is closed is because the toilet block is closed and that doesn't effect us anyway.. Maree & Paul went for a walk to Horseshoe Bay while we finished setting up. The bay opposite where we are camped is called "Crockery Bay"
