Thursday 12th Feb 2015 - Langhorne Creek Winery Trip

This afternoon we headed off on a wine tasting trip to Langhorne Creek and regions.

1st Stop:     Bleasdale Winery at Langhorne Cree.
2nd Stop:    The Wine Shop (Meechi Brewing) where we bought a bottle of Gipsie Jack Chardonnay Pinot Noir which is very nice.
3rd Stop:     Lake Breeze Winery where we bought a bottle of Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet and a wine cooler.
4th Stop:     Bremerton Winery, so many wineries and so little time to get to them all.
5th Stop:     Now onto Angas Winery to try some more wine, dirt road up to this winery so hope it is worth it.  Barry washed the car this morning so he may have to do it again when we get home.  A nice hot chocolate for me while the others tried the wine.  Barry bought some clean skins which he thought were very nice.  The winery had the most fantastic HUGE wooden doors going into the tasting area.  The lady there said she sourced the doors from Adelaide and built the tasting area around them. As we were going thru Strathalbyn we spotted a really old, full looking Emporium.  It was absolutely chock-a-block with "stuff"  I have never seen so much crammed into one small space, except for the store at Roma, that is a whole other story.
6th Stop:    Our last stop was to Currency Creek but unfortunately it was closed so now on towards home and taking some pictures of the beautiful Kingsbrook Estate.  A really good day.
