This morning we went back into McLaren Vale to collect mail and stop at Robern Menz chocolate shop for some treats, we also stopped on the way at another winery (Shingleback Wines) and bought more wine. Lovely little boutique winery and the Chocolate wine that we bought is to die for, lovely and I am not even much of a wine drinker and I love it. A spot of shopping at Colonnades Shopping Centre and then back to the caravan. After lunch we went down to Sellicks Beach and worked our way back to Moana hugging the coast as much as we could. The next beach was Silver Sands where we were really disappointed to see a sign that said there were only 75 hooded plover left in the area and that cars and dogs were responsible for breaking their eggs. It seems stupid to me to allow cars on the sand and dogs should be on leads. Next beach was Aldinga Beach where the scenery is stunning and a little further on at Port Willunga we stopped for iced chocolate at a restaurant right on the cliff top over looking the water, felt a little like being in Greece (Restaurant was called Star of Greece). Last stop Maslin Beach and then home for happy hour. Tonight we are going over to the Deep Blue Cafe to listen to some live music. A very full and interesting day.
