Sunday 8th Feb 2015 - Beachport

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.............OMG 65 today and officially an old pensioner. Today we went for a drive along the coast and into Robe to have a look around.  On the way there we stopped and had a look at the Woakwine Cutting, what an amazing piece of engineering that is. (Worth a read on the link attached).  We also stopped at a few of the rest areas along the way to take some stunning photos.  The coastline is absolutely spectacular and is called  The Limestone Coast.  Paul named our tour "The grumbling Tour" as we were all complaing a bit, mainly about Paul's driving. Fish & Chips looking out to Guichen Bay where it was very windy but not in the least bit cold. This afternoon Barry, Maree & Paul have all gone for a walk up to the pub to take in the live music that is playing this afternoon.  I, on the otherhand are staying in the caravan and typing up my Blog.  I am truly over the wind at the moment, and because it is my birthday today I can do whatever I like. Tonight we are booked into the The Bompas Hotel in Beachport for my birthday dinner. Looking forward to a nice glass of Champagne from Maree & Paul before we venture up there.
